inode, thanks for straightening me out on that. I was WRONG and I shouldn't have said it without researching it. Pretty DUMB of me. Trump did run a different campaign, but only different because of the era he ran it in. It was a campaign that was very typical in the first half of the 20th century. Hewy Long (sp) ran exactly the same type of campaign in Louisiana in the 1920's and early 1930's and might have been a major challenger to FDR in 1936 if he hadn't been killed. He has run a Populist campaign. You do that by saying exactly what many people are thinking and you tell them you want to do that stuff. The problem is that that stuff isn't usually the WISE thing to do.
