Does the Diamond card even support OpenGL? I just realized that my Matrox II does not support enough of it to run Quake. (which I got for Christmas.)

Can the card maintain the refresh rates at 1600x1200 when you go to higher color depths? Matrox Millenium II can maintain 77 Hz up to 16bit color. When I go to 24bit color, it drops to 74 Hz.

The System I just purchased was for a friend. I am waiting until the next generation of boards are available.

I don't see that much of a need to upgrade my 6x86 PR166 either. I will wait for either the 100 MHz Socket 7 CPUs or MXi. Even though the boxed 6x86MX 66 x 2.5 seems appealing. But I would like at least 2 x 100MHz or 2.5 x 100MHz
