So by your own admission, you are a luddite. Only luddites say they don't need metrics and statistics. So you go by gut feel? Good thing your doctors use science and statistics instead of gut feel. Good thing we have scientists and engineers who use numbers to do what they do. If everyone was like you, and disdained numbers, we'd all be living in caves still.
