Buck, appeals tend to cost less than the early stages of litigation. While hourly costs remain high, it's mostly brief writing rather than back and forth negotiations and "discovery" with the other side. I'd say the bulk of the legal expenses are behind us on this.

By the way, I think you may have inadvertantly suggested a nice term -- that IDX's stock price may "go postal" in the near future.
