Caution everyone! Twice while the gizmodo page was loaded, my computer rebooted because of a problem. It wasn't doing it before or since, and has been running now for over 24 hours since trying to read the article. Note that I'm running OS X 10.11.5 with 20GB RAM and over 600 GB free space on my internal SSD. I run with Flash disabled. On loading the site, the OS asked if I wanted to allow the use of Flash, and I refused. That's standard practice for all sites using Flash. I don't run with the automatically open windows feature active, but after reboot it tried to reopen them anyway. That is how I ended up having to go through a second reboot. I believe there is a security issue with their site. Just a warning…
