Berry Picker,

You get 3 shots:

Northern Shield Announces VTEM Surveys
As expected by shareholders and those monitoring NRN, Northern Shield announced that airborne VTEM surveys are underway at Huckleberry, under option to South32, and the 100% owned Sequoi property. Not expected was that the Idefix property is also to be flown with a VTEM survey.

Idefix was previously explored by NRN and optionee's for reef style PGE's. Interestingly, globules of massive sulphide were noted in almost every drill hole over several kilometers. These massive sulphide globules assay an average of about 3-5% Ni, 2-3% Cu and ~24 gms Palladium. Similar globules are also noted nearby massive sulphide ore bodies at Noril'sk.

A magnetic feature runs for several kilometers along the length of the area previously drilled for PGM's and down dip. If the magnetic anomaly is due to magnetic massive Ni sulphides like pendlandite and associated pyrrhotite, the VTEM survey will generate conductor anomalies which I expect would be drill tested. For more details, an Idefix summary can be seen here.

The Idefix property and project added to Huckleberry and Sequoi, gives NRN shareholders a total of three shots at discovering giant, Noril'sk style, high grade Cu-Ni-PGM deposits, any one of which could dwarf a deposit like Voisey's Bay, and it just doesn't get better than that.

Disclosure: I have taken a position and have no affiliation with $NRN. The commentary is entirely my opinion based on my research. Stocks like NRN are speculative and risky.
