What Don fails to realize is just how important the quality of executions is. If you lose just 1/16 of a point in slippage on each trade and you get in and out once a day, for an average $30 stock you will lose 65% of your investment in a year. Don, these are not the costs of trading. Nobody has to give away 2/3 of his investment to MMs and brokers each year just to trade. That's why we are interested in good brokers, Level II quotes, etc. How a supposed good trader doesn't see it is beyond me. "Quit fighting over 1/8 of points" maybe the worst advice I've heard on SI yet. I guess some people just like to let others steal their money...
