No. It comes from being raised around self-proclaimed racists and white supremacists. This might come as a shock to you, not sure why, but...

I am not solely defined as a software engineer. I grew up in a town pretty close to "Bloody Vidor". Vidor was a result of white flight, East Texas has a significant black population. They used to raise cotton in East Texas. Wanna take a guess why there are a lot of blacks in the area?

During WWII, Beaumont had a race riot. Because of the war, there was a lot of ship building and the jobs attracted blacks looking for good paying jobs. People like John were not happy because of it, and they found an excuse to attacks the blacks. It didn't go as planned...

BTW, Vidor is very close to the shipyards. In the wake of the riots, Vidorians radicalized. The Klan gained a foothold. They even had a sunset sign until the late 1960s.

Stormfront has adopted Vidor.

So I have decades of experience with loud and proud white supremacists.

I don't like them. Not a little bit. If you want to make common cause with one, that is your business. It is a dangerous and very stupid business, because they are dangerous and very stupid people. But your choice.
