no, I'm not.

But I can tell you based on my experience(in way too many situations) that racism goes both ways.

I've experienced black on white racism to the point where I was rescued by an kind older black dude that scolded me and my friend and said: "What are you two white boys doing around here? Those black boys(edited for modern conformity) will kill you! Get in this car and let's get outa here!"

we were in high school hitching rides through LA and happened to be dropped off in Watts on an off ramp after dark. Eight dudes had surrounded us and were about 10 seconds away from making sludge out of us when our Black Angel screeched to a halt, screamed at the perps and drove us away to safety. He advised us to NEVER come back to Watts if we knew what was good for us. I've taken his advice.

I experienced racism as a young boy working the coke sales at the UT stadium in Austin. It was considered "black" work but we were just poor white boys. Nothing like being 9 years old and being the brunt of full grown men laughing and mocking at you and stealing your cokes…telling you "You white boys get outa here."

I think that multi-culturalism works best if travel is involved. For example, if Americans had to go spend 6 months in Iraq as an ordinary citizen, perhaps the US wouldn't be so cavalier in committing genocide there.
