FINANCING / Player Petroleum Corp Private Placement VANCOUVER, Dec. 30 /CNW/ - Player Petroleum Corporation (the ''Corporation'') wishes to announce that it intends to complete on December 31, 1997 a private placement of 1,160,000 common shares of the Corporation at a price of $1.15 per share on a flow-through basis, subject to regulatory approval. The Corporation intends to use the proceeds of this offering to continue its ongoing exploration program. Upon completion of this transaction there will be 7,731,843 issued and outstanding shares of Player. The Vancouver Stock Exchange has not reviewed and does not accept responsibility for the adequacy or accuracy of this release.
