I have been reading George Will for decades. I find him one of the most despicable liars and generally dishonest political pundits in the nation. He is basically a criminal. He used to write the final page in time magazine. And he always infuriated me. I don't know that he started under Henry Luce who was like Rupert Murdoch, but it was when Time was the right wing magazine. Henry Luce lied about the Viet Nam war in Time for years. As I stated in an earlier this post I think the only reason George Will left the Republican Party wasn't because it was dishonest, bigoted or racist, it was when it started looking overtly stupid. And he didn't want to be connected with stupid because he sees himself as this great intellectual. Sort of like William F Buckley only a better speaker. He doesn't do all the hesitant speech Buckley always used to give him time to find the right lie.
