Granholm was born in Canada and neither of her parents were American citizens when she was born, so she can't be President or VP. McCaskill has said some dumb things and can't even guarantee that she could pull MO for Clinton if she was on the ticket.

Personally, as I'm sure you know already, I agree with Rat and Ron, Warren is better off in the Senate. Both for herself and for the ticket. She can be completely independent there. She can still support Clinton from the sideline but won't frighten off "moderates" or business types if she isn't on the ticket. Nor do I believe that having her on the ticket will help Clinton with her "white male worker" problem, a group that could swing Trump's way and that he is clearly targeting in key states like PA, MI and OH. She might well hurt the ticket with that group due to sexism. If Trump can manage to win those states, he could have a chance as it would poke good sized hole in the so-called Blue Wall.

The young may swoon over Warren, but they also may be too busy smoking, drinking, and twerking to vote.
