Well, I feel "encouraged to participate".

However, my participation on this thread is not quite the type of participation the owners want to encourage.

Now, if the admins were to unban users who had been banned WITH NO PRIOR WARNING (even though their own rules and regs require pre-warning), perhaps I would be less likely to participate on this thread in such an undesirable manner.

... which would reduce the overall number of postings.

... which is counter to their goal to increase participation.

So, like ... is this a conundrum, or what?
