I made a profit on the money I borrowed to complete the job, so I'd say your Aunt Fannie Mae made me a good deal, and I passed it on.

So you could borrow money on their behalf when the business couldn't. Hope there was no fraud involved.

They did nothing to put energy independence on the blueprints. . The county doesn't require it. What government requires is to minimize energy demand thru building code laws. That was done.

IOW you do nothing to support the environment unless you're made to or can brag about it.
