The best way to do that is by treating GLBTs exactly the same as everybody else. You know, sit next to one in public, ask, "hey, how's (insert partner's name here) doing? I heard you won a prize at the Emerald Cup". That sort of thing. You could demonstrate your lack of homophobia by not mentioning anything about GBLTs again. Every time you think about posting something like,"gay wedding wants flowers", change it to "Dem wedding wants flowers", "Dems want their own bathrooms",... The Dems can take it, and everybody will think you are foolish.
