I guess that's my point - what's your maximum position allocation? If you don't have a mental "floor" or "ceiling" for where a security will trade, I guess you'd have to correspondingly reduce the position size. Many stocks that range-traders target have lots of financial/ operating leverage and/ or trouble business models, meaning the probability of a given position being wiped out overnight is not insignificant.
