Buckwheat, Compaq vs. Dell: The company I work for, TRW, has been buying quite a few P-II and P-Pro system from either of the two PC makers. In Detroit, we stay with Compaq. In LA area, we stayed with Dell. I have a Compaq and find it occasional goofs up (all minor but annoying, not CPU related, mostly BIOS). My colleagues in LA have never had any problems with Dell systems. "All Intel Inside" does pay off, doesn't it? John.
