StockPuppy,
Having sex is a choice. Having "unprotected" sex is a choice. Having "protected" or "unprotected" sex with many partners is most definitely a choice.
The prevailing view among liberal men is that sex is a need, like food. If you don't eat, you go hungry. If you repress your sexual urges, you go crazy.

That's their excuse for the Orlando shooter, for example. He suppressed his homosexuality because of his religious beliefs. Combine that with an assault rifle and you know the rest.

Hence guys like Shep (and Combjelly and Bentway) get confused when you say that having sex (hetero, homo, or otherwise) is a choice, because not having sex is like not having food. How do you choose not to eat?
