>> Speaking of which, it was reported that Bill Clinton and Loretta Lynch met privately yesterday. Shortly afterwards, Lynch announced that she will accept the recommendations of the FBI.

The pressure was great. The meeting with Clinton was clearly inappropriate. And Lynch, while not technically recusing herself, did what she had to do: To say publicly she will follow the FBI advice is enough for me. Now, it is on Comey.

There is no putting the toothpaste back in the tube on ethical violations but honestly, Lynch has done all she could possibly do, and she did it quickly. That's about all one can ask at this point.
