stephen..Maria B. also reported a few weeks ago that Ascend was being courted, and that "tomorrow" the buyer would come back with an offer of $40, after having $35/shr rejected by Ascend. I would ignore rumors started by Maria B., no matter how "reliable" she says her sources are. She should be treated as no more than an attractive talking head (with little substance).
