Nope. That is just a mis-direction by ammosexuals like yourself. Just an attempt to make people with legitimate concerns to look silly.

They aren't. Eventually they will stop trying to minimize the impact on the shooter community, bite the bullet and ban semi-automatic weapons totally. There really isn't a good justification for them in the hands of civilians anyway.

If you fight every effort to find common ground, sooner or later you will lose a lot more than is offered.

Personally, I see that technology will make this all moot. When you buy a gun, you will have a choice. You can get the latest and greatest with high capacity magazines, but it won't allow you to shoot at a human target. Or you can get one for self-protection that will, but it only holds a few very specialized rounds. And you will have no one to blame but yourselves.
