Well, let's see. There are several states that have adopted wingnut economics policies. All projected economic growth that would quickly payback all of those tax cuts which mainly benefited the wealthy.

So how are they doing?

Wanna talk about crumbling infrastructure? Look at most any Red state. Say, Kansas. Haven't been able to pay their bills for years. Despite cutting money from the freeloaders.

Kids, for the most part.

How about Wyoming. Home of little Scotty Walker. He was the great white hope for the Republicans. Until he wasn't. Not quite as bad off as Kansas, but it is pretty confident they can beat them out.
Or Louisiana. Home of little Bobby Jindal. Wanted to leverage the Louisiana Miracle to the presidency. Sadly, the Miracle is more of a nightmare...

Oklahoma. Most recent entry to the wingnut economics club. Just started on the road of balancing their budget on the backs of kids and the poor. Thankfully, they have a lot of poor to balance their budget with. Maybe those Indian casinos can help out? I drive through Muskogee twice a week. Remembering the old Merle Haggard song about white lightning being the biggest thrill of all. Unless I miss my guess, meth and oxy now have that role...

There are 4 states who wish they had the budget problems that California has. All have the crumbling infrastructure and budget shortfalls to boot.
