America, raped by the rich since 1776.....Now, to be accurate staying within bounds of historical reality, America started being really raped by republicans starting with President Grant tenure. Truth & Reality, such a simple thing for most, except for the right wing but common knowledge the Republicans have always been the party of big business, wall street & monopoly.
Let's refer to history, the great Whiskey Ring Scandal of 1875 under Grant a republican, was the true beginning of the long line of raping the American republic by the new greed -based Republican Party, post Civil War. ( for as you know greed tends to attract greed)

The Whiskey Ring began in St. Louis but was also organized in Chicago, Milwaukee, Cincinnati, New Orleans, and Peoria. Before they were caught, a group of politicians were able to siphon off millions of dollars in federal taxes on liquor; the scheme involved an extensive network of bribes involving distillers, rectifiers, gaugers, storekeepers, and internal revenue agents.

Babcock, the private secretary to the President, was indicted as a member of the ring — for this reason, President Ulysses S.
