Fuchi, my SuperMicro MB provides fast wide SCSI at a total cost of $299. The cost of the same parts from Adaptec for a SCSI card would wholesale from $199-$299 ... making the net cost of my PII MB from free to $100. I fully expect my PII to depreciate within a month -- by more than lunch money. BFD because I can not wait until who kniows when to get something better.

All that said, my son blew out his MB when his rabbit chewed through the mouse cord last week. I replaced his MB with a PA2005 and, after 4+ hours, I still can not get his mouse to work.

Any suggestions as to how to make an MS-Mouse (OEM) work with an FIC 2005 MB with Win 95? If you fail (like me) to get it to work, I guess I'll own yet another PII ... this time for my 9-year-old son whose father owns not one but two CYRX pxx+ chips and a loose Intel P5/133 as well.

PS I wrote to John Malone today (who sold me this MB) but I have yet to receive his response. I paid $200+ for this MB and only now put it to use. You might think that John would respond .. but let me assure you that if I stuck an Intel PII chip into an LX MB, any number of people would crawl all over me to provide help. As for now, my kid can't play with his PC, I have more P5 chips than I can use, and all FIC has to say is "contact your reseller". Any ideas?
