He is NOT a politician. Not sure where you got that idea.

At any rate, it is crystal clear that had he been politically motivated he could have recommended her prosecution.

Nothing unethical about it, but it was done because there was intense public interest and time is of the essence.

This is stupid. In both this case and the Benghazi case, it was (and continues to be) important to establish what went wrong to determine whether changes need to be made to insurance this kind of incompetence is not permitted in the future.

There ARE often political witch hunts; neither of these cases is one. These are legitimate questions and particularly in the case of the email, the people in this country need to understand the lack of judgment that led to her actions.
