You are probably wrong on both of these.

Per usual.

The forces behind both have been building since the Reagan administration. Because that is when the economic changes that led to them being issues were pushed into high gear.

Oddly enough, the economic and social changes that led to Trump were accelerated at the same time.

All these things were set in motion long before Obama was elected.
