New Poll Shows Trump With Biggest Lead Over Clinton Since October

After officially endorsing her, President Obama is ready to start campaigning alongside Hillary Clinton, beginning with the state of North Carolina, next week.

During an interview with NPR “Weekend Edition” host Rachel Martin, which is set to air on July 3, Biden said Sanders would be endorsing Clinton for president.

N.C. Attorney General Roy Cooper, the Democratic candidate for governor, will join Obama and Clinton.

Sanders – who has so far withheld his endorsement from Clinton – detailed the state of play between the campaigns as they work on reconciling after a fierce primary fight.

Sanders supporters quickly note that super delegates don’t vote until the Democratic convention, adding that Sanders still has leverage in the platform shaping process.

Bernie Sanders said during an interview on MSNBC’s “All In With Chris Hayes” that he does not hate Hillary Clinton.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey of Likely U.S. Voters finds Trump with 43% of the vote, while Clinton earns 39%.

“I have to say one thing about Bernie”, Trump said. This teaser raised hopes that the great show of party unity many Democrats believe is necessary to consign Donald Trump to the dustbin of weird presidential campaign history was finally imminent. “On that issue, we are trying to work with Secretary Clinton’s campaign on areas that we can agree on”.

Clinton’s micro-fundraisers have landed big money: At least $19.5 million has flowed from 16 of them over the past two months, according to an Associated Press review.

In an interview on MSNBC Thursday night, Sanders responded to Trump, who at a rally in ME on Wednesday, told a crowd he knew “what (Sanders) thinks inside” and that the Vermont senator “hates” Hillary Clinton. “As of this moment, we’re not there quite yet”. Er, wait … to which candidate exactly does Bernie Sanders refer?

Trump blamed rival Hillary Clinton and the Obama administration for misreading the ISIS threat.

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton speaks at a Digital Content Creators Town Hall at the Neuehouse Hollywood in Los Angeles, Tuesday, June 28, 2016.

“Most voters continue to oppose Obama’s plan as they have from the start and believe instead that the US government needs to more aggressively deport illegal immigrants”, according to Rasmussen.
