Assuming that no liberal understands anything about guns is sort of dumb. For example, an 'assault rifle' is fully automatic. It is pretty much a direct translation from the term that Hitler coined. The term "assault weapon" is a marketing term by the gun industry to describe something like an AR15 in the late 1980s. Which at least was also described as "your man card" in at least some ads.
