'SpeedUpNew' Reviews ...

speedupnew.com

Like many similar sites that rate software products 'SpeedUpNew' has ties to the companies that they review. It is wise for readers to read their disclosure statement linked from the upper right of their home page.

Pretty good site. I worked through the whole site. Overall their comments are rather intelligent and their reviews, ratings and the rationale behind them as well as caveats seem to be rather sound. Every word on their site is protected by Copyscape so I can't copy and paste but these two paragraphs (copied in compliance with their terms as I understand them] I totally agree with ...

I have paid/licensed copies of two of SpeedUpNew's top rated products {Glary Utilities Pro 5, and iOBit's Advanced System Care v9.1]) running on all 3 of my active Desktop systems, and I use various component modules of each frequently. I've used others on the list in the past.

As for iOBit's Advanced System Care registry optimizer, I find it a bit too aggressive (although I use it while keeping an eye on it). Unfortunately my favorite all purpose optimizer toolkit with a one click fixer (from Kingsoft) was never updated beyond Win7 but I still use it on my secondary (Win7x64) desktop.

Nobody should use a system optimizer, and especially a registry cleaner or driver updater component without frequently backing up as a safety net. Not doing so can fix the user negatively rather than fix the system.
