Archie,

Here's some of the latest OEM market share info:
According to Computer Intelligence, Compaq is the top-selling computer
manufacturer in the U.S. retail market. As of July, sales of Compaq computers accounted for 22.7 percent of the total retail market. Packard Bell was second with 17.5 percent of the market, according to Computer Intelligence. Trailing the leaders were IBM Corp. and Hewlett-Packard Co. with 11.7 percent and 10.6 percent of the market, respectively.

Boy, if we could just get CPQ to drop that floptical dog, IOMG would have OEM agreements with the top 4. I guess we will just have to settle for 3 out of 4 -- for now.

take care - hope school is going well,

trakker
