lepolv86, thanks for putting up the site. Training has been going fine, as is the fund raising. That was a fun night...the song was about a week old so there were a few wires hanging out....but the open mic people really liked it....they're kinda like the folks at the NNBM Bar.
I was riding on the Nashua River Rail Trail last week, and saw this dark lump of something in the distance on the trail. As I got closer, I slowed to a stop. It was a fisher-cat....low slung body, wide, about 3 feet long, and these claws that were splayed out on the tar. He has psycho eyes too which led me to the conclusion I should wait for him. Mean looking critter - he finally went into the woods.
See a lot of nature out training along this trail - it was the old Worcester Ma to Portland Me track, now paved and just for bikes, walking, roller skating and horses.
Hope everyone is having a great summer. Oh, I put some new pickled eggs in the jar...it was running low...I forgot I was on duty this month.
