I'm considering using the Graham Number especially on shorter holding.

On a side note, I finished up Buffettology over the weekend. It gave me a lot to think about in terms of portfolio construction. I know Graham suggested 25% bonds, so I am considering something like 25%+ in Buffett like companies and the rest for situations like you talk about, the typical Graham holding or things like spin offs and mergers.

Thanks for your insight. I think for long term holdings, Buffett like with holding period of "forever", I have a game plan and know what to look for / how to value for the most part. It's just the shorter term opportunities that I am researching. I will look into the Graham Number.

Thanks for the help!

Micah
