That CO2 is a greenhouse gas isn't reasonably debatable. That the Earth is warmer then it used to be in the 70s or 100 years ago, or 200 years ago isn't either. That human activity creates a net warming effect isn't very debatable either.

But if someone wants to claim any of those things it isn't reasonably to try to bring them up on fraud charges, even if they were intentionally lying about it and it could be proved, much less if they were just mistaken. Someone's opinion is free speech, even in factual matters if they can be shown to be incorrect.

What's is very debatable is how much the Earth will warm, how much of that is due to human emission of CO2, how much net harm will be done, how expensive it will be to try to avoid the increase or lessen it, how effective the effort will or can be, how successful can mitigation efforts other then reducing CO2 be, and how expensive and potentially dangerous such efforts will be, and in light of all of those what should be done.
