Benedict- as you know i am not a computer technocrat and don't know a byte from a bite, but find this issue of a "java processor" disingenuous and agree wholeheartedly with David's last post. but the little i do understand is that i always saw it as a positive that ptsc's chip is NOT a "true java processor" meaning that it was not designed for the purpose of running java efficiently to the exclusion of other languages, such as C and C++. For example, note the following recent article and the comments by the Neoware exec-- wired.com bob
