On a more serious point of clarity, I do not have any personal knowledge of or relationship with any poster on this thread.

I believe that one of the characteristics that has been long missing in the conversation around REFR and SPD is a middle ground--where there may be a confidence in the value of SPD technology, but a sense of disappointment/irritation/misfeasance/malfeasance in the management personnel of the company and the business model (me).
We have had extremists on both ends. Those that feel the whole thing, both the product and the company are a total charade and fraud (Rancon and Stockdung perhaps?). The other extreme is those that feel the product is the best thing since air conditioning AND that the company and the personnel; Joe, Bob and the others at REFR probably are gifts from God, if not the second coming, and are incapable of error or malice, sort of like the Pope--infallible for the true believers (George and Dixon, perhaps).

Wouldn't a whole more useful conversation be had if there was less effort here to find tenuous threads of distant future applications (recent Range Rover article comes to mind) and instead creative suggestions that would create a path to business growth (I was the one that suggested weeks before the Q1 CC that presentations and point of sales materials be given to the Mercedes dealers to educate the retail sales people) or identifying potential licensee's in N. America for making film and laminating and fabricating products?

And BTW, I still think M-B is going to dump Joe and SPD.
