To Hog Head and Louel (and others):

I, too, must shout out a big "thank you" to those of you kind enough to offer some investment picks while we wait for the debacle at Copper Fox to unfold.

Hog Head: Way to go! I am pleased to say, however, that I slightly bested you - thanks to Louel's tip (and a bit of further due diligence on my part), I am happy to note that I scored a double on my GOM holdings today. (Not bad...it only took a month!) Having learned a (very painful and excruciating) lesson from my CUU stock, I immediately took half of my GOM holdings off the table this afternoon and locked in my gain. This way, the remaining 50% I still hold effectively "cost me nothing". (It's a nice feeling - GOM can now go to zero and the worst that will happen is that I break-even).

Have you all noticed, both here and on other forums, that there is a recent trend of people saying: "...I unloaded XX% (or all) of my CUU position and invested it into Company XXX instead - this is the best thing I ever did!" I cannot blame these people...they are tired of having their capital locked-up in CUU and watching it go nowhere!

I simply cannot believe it...it's been years since we've had even a slight sustained uptick on the Venture exchange as a whole, and yet, CUU has done NOTHING! You would think that we could at least hit 25 cents (...and stay there, rather than have our usual "1-day wonder" bump ups, only to be slammed down within a few days following). Practically every other issuer worth a grain of salt has seen their stock price rise by at least 2, 3, or 4 times since December, yet, here we sit at 12.5 cents! (Proof, in my mind, of what the market thinks of the "stellar" management team we have running this Company).

I haven't sold 1 share of CUU, but, obviously, I will not be adding to my position anytime soon. (As my other investments grow in value, at least CUU will become an ever smaller and smaller portion of my total holdings [...but...it will forever stick in my mind like a bad case of indigestion]). Like some of you, I, too, wish that, in hindsight, I would have sold my entire CUU position and put my capital into something that has a chance, at least, of doing something. (Maybe we should have all followed Hog Head's lead when he bailed-out a few months ago - good for him). What a sad state of affairs!

P.S. Louel: thanks again...I put my GOM proceeds into AVL. I can't wait to see what it does in the next few months!
