A dongle included with the iPhone 7 would certainly go a long way toward easing the anger people will feel when they find out the 3.5mm headphone jack is no longer there.

Perhaps Apple learned something from the switch to Lighting ports from 30-pin connectors years ago and decided trying to make $20 by selling the adapters instead of including them for free wasn't the best idea.
