I pulled all of it out at 35 cents (it went up to 40 cents so I left some on the table). Previously I tended to hold too long and was frustrated when this happened - but through discussions here I have learned to be happy with multiple smaller wins (I've had lots of 5 to 20% short hold gains) and I haven't lost more than 5% on any trade by using stop losses. Sure, a few times a stop was tripped only to gain back much more - but my investment was protected. Not as dramatic, but building on good returns. A few big wins like Teck @ $6ish and the near double with GOM give me something to smile about after a long and sometimes bitter relationship with Copper Fox. For me a hard lesson learned but in the long run I suppose a worth while one... Iceman, I hope it all works out well for you in the end with your CUU shares. A buyout may come and surprise everyone? A lot of good people are still holding and I really hope all ends well. My approach has changed and if I miss out on a big payday - so be it. I am a lot happier now with a lot less stress. At least I feel my risk is much more limited this way. Have a good weekend and join in the conversation more often - this is a friendly place...
