The DNC is centrist, not liberal. Sanders was opposed because of his left wing views, not because of his religion. So, try to get real.

As for Sanders, let's see his reaction at the Convention.
The decisive poll you need to look at is who has the higher unfavorable rating, Trump or Hillary. I say this because the vast majority of voters will be making a protest vote and Trump has the higher unfavorable rating at the moment.
