In other words, you still do. You really are a special piece of work. Have you never been in a position where the decision to continue life support or not has to be made? The person in question isn't there any more. There is nothing to have any pride in anything. Like with Terry Schaivo, the lights might be on, but nobody is home. Continuing life support is pointless and cruel to the survivors. Do you have any humanity that isn't politicized?
