Bernie has made it very clear that he despises Trump and will block him at all costs, so I expect that he would eat a litter box of cat chit before he would do or say anything to help Trump. His response to the wikileaks scandal has been very mild and tame thus far. Also, being the kind of person that he is, I strongly suspect that he is working vigorously behind the scenes to secure significant monetary compensation in exchange for not making waves. That would fit the stereotype.
