MHR was a good story - it went up from ~$0.4 (when it was PRC or some ticket like that) to over $10. It was a growth story, but operational, MHR never did well operationally (as was evident from their income statement) and they were highly leveraged. An additional red flags were the antiques of the CEO. This could have worked out well in the end, if they have gotten acquired, but the slump in the energy sector did them in.
