The "easy and cheap" to get at oil is pretty much gone today.

You need to put much more steel (feet) underground to get more contact area with that pitiful low porosity geology in the tight shales.

Not to mention all of the other physical processes that were not required with previous drilling in conventional reservoirs.

Deep water is even worse.

Ultra deep water requires over 1/2 billion dollars of equipment to put that first straw in the bottom.

Pitiful

Nah, your slowly being priced out of business!

You can't compete with renewables.
