I just sampled a half hour of 'Fox and Friends' and I'd say they have tweaked their propaganda on several levels.
Not only do they use their hosts to utter half-truths and lies, they so occasionally mix in real news, but when they are doing this, they use banner captions below to convey other propaganda. The centerpiece of what I saw this morning was a smartphone video of a 'protester' wearing some kind of mask, tossing a small American flag into a fire and then stomping on it. They ran this as an endless loop for at least 2 minutes, with the caption
'SHAMEFUL DISPLAY Protester burns American flag outside Democratic National Convention.'
They then immediately cut to an adoring interview with one of Trump's sons.. and on and on.
They definitely work hard to stoke anger among older, ignorant, viewers.
A quick video search shows Fox is very big on flag burning. They also earlier ran videos of protesters
attempting to burn a flag outside the RNC, stopped by brave police officers.

Fox and Friends is one of their 'opinion' shows. I'll sample one of their 'news shows' later on, not expecting
to find anything much better. Needless to say, in my opinion this kind of deliberate fear and anger-mongering has been and continues to be damaging to American Democracy. Roger Ailes basically took the 'Drudge Report' and Rush Limbaugh and turned it into television.
