It is speculation. But based on observable facts. When racist emails are passed around and wind up public knowledge the authors are invariably Republican. I can't recall a single one that had a Democrat doing it. Most of which are much, much worse than anything in the DNC email.

And those email get defended by Republicans!

It isn't a huge surprise that the Democrats harbor a few racists. Some of whom have apparently attempted to make jokes. But it is a fact that the Republicans harbor far more.
