There were a lot of Democrats who have been unhappy with DWS. Including Obama. Which is sort of surprising because it has been the progressive wing of the party who has been the most unhappy with her. The email were sort of a last straw. DWS is the poster child for the neoliberals in the Democratic party. Her ouster is more of a sign that their star is dimming, finally.
