When you have foreign government agents breaking into/hacking stuff on US soil, it is a national security issue. It is different than Ivan sitting in his parent's basement doing the hacking. Or Anonymous. It is a crime, but only becomes a national security issue when the foreign government gets involved.

Publicly calling on a foreign entity to do such, even in jest, is a pretty stupid thing to do, diplomatically speaking. It isn't exactly criminal, at least I don't think so, but really, really stupid.

Can you look past your partisan blinders and understand that?
