Interesting. Of course that group of men could very well be a lost cause. A lot of the guys I know who only
graduated from high school... wish things were back in the 'good old days'.. you know which days those were.
Daddy came home from work and Mommy had dinner ready. Blacks were seldom seen and 'knew their place.'
Gays were queers and definitely in the closet. And when they went on job interviews they didn't have to worry about competing about anybody but other white males.
I'm not sure Hillary could do much to win that group over, so it appears her strategy is to keep working on women. It does seem to be getting old, however. Some feminists I know are still smarting over the defeat of the ERA.. and see this is some sort of victory. I suppose they can't get enough of the appeal to women.
The gender gap is a worry. No doubt about it. Remember the ERA? It seemed to be a no-brainer for most liberals and it went down in flames. Let's hope something similar doesn't happen with this campaign.
We'll see what Hillary emphasizes in her speech tonight... fingers crossed that its a really good one.
