Has anyone done a little analysis on how the prices of differrent mobile suppliers in the US.

I phoned Sprint yesterday and asked them. They unfortunately don't cover hometown of Houston (or Chicago) but all other major markets.

In any event Q-phone $540 approx. 180 local mins $30.mnth

400 local mins $50 mnth

800 local mins $80 mnth

mins = inbound and outbound

xtra mins 15c

for an extra $19.95mnth call anywhere in US

AND and this is what really excites me NO xtra fees for roaming. i.e. if I live in New York and I travel to a territory where Sprint has coverage then I just use my phone at the same price as my home. This sounds like very good value to me.

Which other providers offer this kind of service and how do their prices compare?
