Sure, hacking is attempted by all intelligence agencies. With different targets, different techniques and different degrees of success. And any hacking by foreign intelligence agencies would be considered a national security issue, regardless of whose server it is or what its contents are as long as it is on US soil. Does this make you feel better?

None of these cases support Krauthammer's contention. Which is the subject under discussion.
